Description
The Green Claim Foundation is a Dutch non-profit that helps individuals fight pollution through collective environmental actions. They needed a website that would bring all their cases together and present the foundation as an organization, rather than focus on one claim at a time.
The main challenge was to explain complex legal and environmental topics, build trust, and encourage people to take action. Because participation is essential for collective action, we kept the sign-up journey simple and easy to follow.
Our research showed that many foundation websites are colorful, visually busy, and difficult to navigate. We took a different approach, using natural colors, clean layouts, and a calmer visual style. The website was designed in Figma and built in Webflow, with a flexible CMS, English and Dutch localization, and GSAP animations.
The project showed us that non-profit websites do not need to feel loud to create impact. Clear communication, trust, and a smooth experience can be just as powerful.
Project Outcomes
Client feedback: “What a journey! Thank you all, you have done incredible work. We have the most beautiful website in the Netherlands, if not beyond.”
What we delivered:
one site that works for many cases
separate paths for different cases
smooth interactions and animations
Target Audience
The main users are people who might be able to join The Green Claim case: such as diesel car owners affected by the emissions cases, or those living near PFAS pollution. The goal is to get them to sign up, as collective action needs hundreds of sign-ups.
The website also speaks to environmental organizations and funding partners, so it needs to communicate trust, credibility, and the scale of each case.
Why Us
The site presents a modern approach to non-profit website design. Non-profits can also have a sleek, elegant, and minimalistic website that doesn't feel busy or loud. The earth-toned palette, videos, and perfect GSAP animations.
