BestCare

BestCare is a mobile app designed to help modern long-term care facilities centralize resident data and streamline care management. Founded by nurse Aleksandra Kobza, the platform addresses the challenge of paper records and scattered files that delay access to critical resident details such as diagnoses, allergies, diet, and support levels. Developed by Personit in two months, the project followed an approach spanning discovery, design, development, and QA/iteration. The backend was built on Supabase, serverless architecture, and enterprise-grade authentication to ensure patient data remains strictly protected and accessible only to authorized facility staff. Key functionalities include detailed resident profiles, communication barrier tracking, multi-facility management from a single account, and bilingual support in Polish and English. The implementation eliminated paper records, gave nurses immediate access to essential resident details during shifts, and allowed managers to oversee multiple care homes seamlessly. The project earned founder Aleksandra Kobza the Queen Silvia Nursing Award (QSNA 2025) at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
