Description

The problem: athletes train hard, but nobody trains mobility — because nobody can measure it. Limited mobility forces the body into compensation patterns. That's how injuries, tightness and plateaus happen. Every athlete knows this. Almost none of them stretch consistently, because "am I getting more flexible?" has never had an answer you could look at. Flexii gives that answer a number. How it works — three steps, five minutes. A short onboarding survey captures the user's sport, goals and starting level. Then comes the guided mobility test: a structured, video-led assessment that measures flexibility across body regions and returns the Flexii Score — an objective baseline instead of a gut feeling. From that score, the app generates a personalized 30-day training plan calibrated to the user's sport, level and available time. After 30 completed sessions, they retest, watch the score move, and level up. Built for six sports, not for "everyone". Football, tennis, handball, running, cycling and skiing each load the body differently — so each gets its own programming logic. The stretch library is filterable by muscle group, sport and goal, users can save favourites, and they can compose, name and edit their own custom routines from any exercise in the collection. Consistency, engineered. Mobility only works if you come back. Flexii wraps the habit in a full gamification layer: streaks, badges, XP and milestone achievements, plus progress analytics with long-term trend charts and per-body-part mobility scores. Push notifications bring users back at the moment they actually train — after sport, in the evening. Monetization runs on a 14-day free trial with monthly, quarterly and annual tiers. The build: native quality, no-code speed. Using FlutterFlow as the production framework rather than a prototyping toy. The mobility-test engine, plan-generation logic, subscription flow, gamification system and notification infrastructure were all implemented no-code, on a Firebase backend architected for the social and community features on the roadmap. No throwaway MVP, no rewrite scheduled: a clean, well-structured native iOS app the client can scale and eventually take in-house.

Project Outcomes

The Flexii Score converts subjective "feeling tight" into a trackable number with per-body-part breakdown and long-term trend charts. Automated plan personalization at scale — every user gets an individually generated 30-day program driven by test results, sport and goals, with retest-and-progress cycles built in. Six sport-specific programming tracks shipped in v1, plus a filterable exercise library and user-authored custom routines. A complete retention engine in v1: streaks, badges, XP, achievements and behaviour-timed push notifications. Revenue-ready from day one: RevenueCat-powered subscriptions with a 14-day full-access free trial across three price tiers. Proof that no-code ships native-grade products. FlutterFlow + Firebase delivered premium iOS UX, complex conditional logic and real monetization — at roughly 5x the speed of a traditional dev team.

Target Audience

Primary: amateur and semi-professional athletes aged 25–45 in the DACH region who train regularly in football, tennis, handball, running, cycling or skiing — people already committed to performance who are losing progress to poor mobility, slow recovery and recurring soft-tissue injuries. They don't want a generic yoga app; they want programming that matches the sport they actually play. Secondary: recreationally active adults seeking injury prevention, faster recovery and better everyday movement quality; coaches and physiotherapists looking for a structured, measurable mobility protocol to recommend between sessions. Behavioural profile: motivated but time-poor, metrics-driven, sceptical of fitness-app fluff. They stay for objective progress and structured guidance — which is exactly what the Flexii Score and the adaptive 30-day plan are built to deliver.
