Health Folder was created to solve the challenge of managing scattered medical documents accumulated during cancer treatment. While an MVP developed in FlutterFlow was running in production by late 2024, high technical debt and budget constraints blocked further scaling and feature delivery. In Q2 2025, Pragmatic Coders initiated a full product rewrite aimed at maximizing AI contribution while keeping human effort to a minimum. After initial attempts faced requirements drift and context pollution, the team established a structured workflow utilizing specprompting, quality checklists, and verification sub-agents analyzing git diffs. Using legacy FlutterFlow context and domain knowledge of medical workflows, Pragmatic Coders successfully rewrote ~90% of the application's functionality into a maintainable Kotlin Multiplatform codebase in 73 engineering hours.
