We brought Spokój Film’s bold, animation-packed design to life in Webflow, using GSAP for a smooth, interactive experience. The site showcases their portfolio with a cinematic touch, powered by a Webflow CMS they can easily manage.

Project Background

Spokój Film, a Warsaw-based film studio, needed a website that matched the cinematic quality of their work. Working from Bartosz Włodarczyk’s bold, animation-rich Figma design, we built an immersive Webflow experience using advanced GSAP animations to showcase their films and portfolio. The result: a visually dynamic site that gives potential partners an instant feel for Spokój Film’s style and capabilities.

Challenges Faced

Execution Process

- Animation Development: We used GSAP to deliver smooth, intuitive, and interactive motion across the site.

- Fine-Tuning: A huge part of the work was testing and adjusting animations to behave perfectly on different screens.

- Pixel-Perfect Build: We implemented the Figma designs while recommending some simplifications to keep the site manageable long-term.

- CMS Setup: Built a CMS that lets the client add and update projects independently.

No-Code for Spokój Film

We used Webflow as the base, combining its CMS and layout flexibility with custom GSAP animations to achieve effects far beyond Webflow’s native limits. While the animation work required meticulous fine-tuning, the no-code approach kept technical bottlenecks low and made it possible to translate a highly complex, animation-heavy design into a site that’s still easy for the client to update without developers.

Lessons Learned

- Large-scale animations require significantly more iteration and device testing than anticipated.
