Personit developed Orrin, a web application designed to simplify how freelancers and independent specialists create and present client offers. Traditional proposal processes rely on Word documents and PDFs, leading to friction, lost emails, and tedious calculations. Orrin addresses these challenges by consolidating scope, portfolio, schedules, payment terms, and automated pricing into a single interactive document. To meet a 2-month timeframe to design and build platform, Personit built the app using React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions), alongside Resend for transactional emails. The platform features a 7-step offer builder, reusable service library, automated net and gross rate calculations, and staged payment schedules. Clients access offers via password-protected links valid for 30 days without creating accounts or downloading attachments. Sent offers are frozen to preserve contract details, while client comments and one-click acceptances trigger instant email notifications.
